Niki Hastings-McFall Sailor's Delight

Art Wall Exhibit

Niki Hastings-McFall (b. 1959) is a multimedia artist of Samoan and European descent who has exhibited widely in New Zealand and internationally.

Like much of the artist's work Sailor's Delight is linked with post-colonial issues:

'As Christian missionaries took the 'light' to the Pacific, so too the Pacific gives 'light' back – Sailor's Delight opens discussions about cultural exchange, appropriation, etc.'
