Francess Jill Studd Captain Cook and his Entourage

July - August 2010

Art Wall Exhibit

This exhibit is a collaborative work by Frances Jill Studd and Derek Schulz, exploring the role of Captain Cook in settling the identity of Aotearoa / New Zealand.

Drawing from research and her imagination the artist constructs an intriguing range of clothing including shoes, waistcoats and cravats for subjects such as Joseph Banks, Captain Cook and Johann Forster.
